Master of Social Work
The Master’s programme in Social Work, the first ever in Sri Lanka, commenced under the sponsorship of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), implemented by the Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Services and Social welfare. The duration of this programme conducted in the English medium is two academic years. Lectures are held mainly on Fridays and Saturdays. Field work forms an important component of the programme.
